F.L.A.M.E. was created by Battalion Chief Ken Lord, who has spent almost 40 years in the fire service. Starting his career as a volunteer firefighter in 1984 and transitioning to a paid firefighter in 1997, Ken has spent the last 15 years in the training division of a large fire department, where he has honed his expertise in developing future leaders.

Ken regularly consults with industry experts and stays informed on the latest fire service standards to ensure F.L.A.M.E. courses are always up to date, relevant, and aligned with current best practices in leadership.
